“You are what your deepest desire is. As is your desire, so is your intention. As is your intention, so is your will. As is your will, so is your deed. As is your deed, so is your destiny.”

~Upanishads, Sacred Hindu Treatise written 800–200 BC

Introducing a New Cycle:

The New Moon brings with it, a new cycle, October 30th-November 28th. This New Moon can be considered a start of a new chapter in the unfolding story of our lives. At this sacred beginning we have the opportunity to enter the Moon Cycle with intention, depth & clarity. Inspired by this New Moon in Scorpio, our theme of the cycle is The DESIRE Moon. Today, and throughout the cycle we will to dig deep to find and call forth our creative super power: DESIRE.

You may start the exploration here, in the New Moon Report, in our international network of Wild Woman Project Circles (Find One New You) and/or in Your New Moon Companion (Download here).

This is the second of the Mystic Moon Series which will culminate at WILD WOMAN FEST ’17. We are moving into the Mystic, Moon by Moon. The Mystic Perspective highlights the connection between the inner life & the outer life. In the year ahead we will go even farther in developing rich inner lives & deep inner guidance so that our outer lives become more and more reflective of who we really are and what we really want, for the highest good of all involved.

Tools & Inspiration for The Desire Moon

A Practice: Turning On Your Desire

Close you eyes. Connect with your womb – breathe into it, feel it – deeply. Find the deepest desire in you. See if you can feel it on a visceral level – breath and movement can help. Keep coaxing it into fullness in anyway that moves you – dance, sound, meditation, writing poetry, song, anything goes – follow the powerful current of desire (physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, in your heart/soul).
This practice helps you own your DESIRE.

Suggested Use: Practice 2-5 Minutes Daily throughout this Moon Cycle, October 30th- November 28th. You may use the same deep desire or switch it up (just be sure you are connecting to a deep desire, not a whim).

An Image: Woman on a Mission

Picture a woman you know & respect who is fully on a mission in life to create something. Can you see the seed of desire in her? Can you feel what she is hungry for, deep down? What do you notice about her? What are her essential qualities?

Suggested Use: Draw, Paint, Write, or Simply sit in Contemplation of this woman. What can you learn by her example?

What are you Hungry for on the deepest level? – A Question

Using you inner guidance, this New Moon ask yourself: What am I hungry for on the deepest level?

Suggested Use: You may close your eyes and ask in. Be aware of the many ways your inner guidance can speak to you: through the sensations in your physical or energetic body, through an image or phrase, through a particular emotional response, through a sense of deep knowing. Allow your guidance to answer the question for you. You may write/draw the answer in your journal once it reveals itself. Best done on or near the New Moon.

Desire Moon Guidance

In case you need it, here it is: Permission to desire!
Sacred is your desire – it is the seed of creation. We need a world, a society that is built from the deepest place in us.

Words of Truth

“You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.”
~Mary Oliver,  American poet, winner of the National Book Award & the Pulitzer Prize
“You are what your deepest desire is. As is your desire, so is your intention. As is your intention, so is your will. As is your will, so is your deed. As is your deed, so is your destiny.” ~Upanishads, Sacred Hindu Treatise written 800–200 BC
“I will not hide my tastes or aversions.
I will so trust that what is deep is holy.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson, American essayist, lecturer & poet
