Periods of life that feel remarkably like shit will inevitably come.
Winter will knock at your door with best intentions. She will walk into your home with a stern look in her eye and some serious work to do. You will contemplate running for the hills but your feet won’t move. You will quickly realize that the more you resist her, the more it hurts. Life will feel over and done. For me, this part gets intense. Really intense. Visions of jumping off bridges in flowing red gowns and other morbid and dramatic thoughts roam through the hospital hall ways of my mind at those times.
(Do note: I’m writing about this with distance from the thing. When it’s happening, it’s real and consuming like quick sand.)
Now, here’s the thing. What I have learned from living through countless periods of dark time over the years is this: it ends.
Every single time, it ends.
Whatever part of me that is grieving gets heard and moves on. Whatever part of my life that needs to die, does. I mourn. And the mourning is usually followed by a period of meh and muddiness and then, like clockwork and magic. It comes.
The rebirth.
The spring. The luscious time when the sky has truthfully never been more beautiful and my iPod shuffle has literally never been better to me. When my heart is beaming with all the possibilities swirling around me. My problems seem solvable. My body feels light. I am oozing with pleasure and gratitude. I have energy for the whole village. Feeling low? Come on over! I will shower you in vitality from my bottomless well of inspiration!
Not to be biased, but I think we can all agree that this is the best part.
And worry not, I do know the Winter will come back and when she does I will welcome her because I am always better for her visits. But for now, its spring! I am flying high and as Tupac Shakur(R.I.P) said, “I got nothin’ but love for you.” (I’m sure he always envisioned that lyric in a pink font)
This is the part where I tell you the giftS that I am giving!
I know you have heard me speak about the WILD Woman Circles before. They are the reason I created this project. Once a month WILD WOMAN Circles meet all over North America(for now), including the Telecircle I lead. In these circles we meet and use the power of thought and community building to make our lives and the world a better place.
If you have not experienced one, go. Even if you think it’s totally weird and not really your thing, try it. I have had the most Type A, skeptical, and rationally minded ladies in circle and guess what? They LOVE it. Seriously. Also, they are all by DONATION. Okay, so that’s my plug.
HERE are my Gifts:
#1: The TeleCirle with me is now “Choose Your Own Price Donation”. Whether you can pay $1 or $50, you are welcome to join in. I would freakin’ love to have you. SPACE is LIMITED, so snatch up for Spot HERE for the next circle on Saturday, April 21st 10-Noon EST(my birthday, y’all!)
AND
#2: I am taking the price of the Online Circle Leader Training Program WAAAAYYYY down. You can now train to start your own circle for under 30 bucks. That’s like a huge discount.
Because I want you to be able to step into your leadership shoes.
This is an opportunity to do what is necessary at this particular time in history: gather good hearted people who want to make the world a better place in the same room. It is time to build relationships and awareness (self and otherwise) in local communities.
As a circle leader you can gather your girlfriends in your living room, you can bring a circle to your Y or Community center. You could choose to make your circle Unisex. You can join a growing movement of humans who are willing to live consciously for the benefit of all involved. So, if you are ready to step up as a leader in your community, Register Today and I will welcome you with open arms into the inner WILD circle.
I’ll save my last Surprise for next WEEK!!!
Sound WILD? Yup, that’s how we roll.
If you are on the fence, write me (chris@thewildwomanproject.com) and ask any questions you like or join in a circle this month IN PERSON or with me OVER the PHONE.
Happy last day of mercury retrograde! Hallelujah!
If it is spring in your life, savor it.
If it is winter, have faith. Because after all, Spring is most certainly on her way.
From the bottom of my WILD heart,
Chris
