NOTE FROM CHRIS
Dearest,
It is with a tender heart that I write you today. I’ve just come home from teaching a my Sunday Morning Yoga Class in my community. This class was dedicated to the life if B.K.S. Iyengar who passed earlier this week. I find myself so moved by the level of service he provided to the world in his 95 years. Most any yoga class you will walk into in the west, was somehow touched by his teachings. Isn’t that amazing?
And he was just one man, with one body and a dedication to his practice.
What if you, with your perfect body and dedication to YOUR practice(whatever it may be) could bring a profound service to the world? Hmmm…
Brings to mind a line from a Mary Oliver poem:
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
Hmm…good New Moon question, no?
If WILD Woman Circle Leader Training is tugging at your heart strings, you will be rewarded by Applying and Registering Early. Early Registration Discount ends Tomorrow at Midnight. Apply Here.
Sending you a Sunday kind of love,
C
P.S~If you Applied for Circle Leader Training & have not heard back in 3 days, please email info@thewildwomanproject.com and let me know. Spam filters have been eating applications! Silly robots:)
MOON WATCH
3 Delicious Ways to Celebrate the New Moon
In these Next couple of days, especially on the true New Moon (Monday, August 25th), you are supported to go inward, get clear on new seeds you are planting in your own heart & life.
You will want to make SPACE for yourself to truly inquire and hear your own guidance.
Here are some suggestions for delightful things to do on the New Moon this Month.
- Do extended versions of your favorite spiritual practice. If you go to yoga as a spiritual practice, you may want to sit in extended meditation afterward. Perhaps add some chanting. If you do walking meditation, you may want an extended walk and a longer sit after. You get my drift. Allow more time and space than usual.
- Make a moon cave. Use one of the rooms in your house for the day (or heck, longer if you like). Put up tapestries or sheets. Gather all the pillows in the house lay them out. Light candles & incense. Have your favorite music, books of poetry, journal & colorful writing utensils. Be soft and receptive, let your guidance be heard. ENJOY.
- Attend a WILD Woman Moon Circle. Every detail about the circle journey is aimed at providing totally support to go inward, get clear & walk away with a specific intention. You’ll get the bonus warm and fuzzy feelings that come when you are really seen (& you will be). This project was build around the desire to bring this experience to as many women as possible.
Enjoy this time for yourself. The veils between your conscious mind and your guidance are thin at this time. Listen, dear ones, listen.
CIRCLE THEME OF THE MONTH
Delight in the Doing
Each month, in Wild Woman Circle, we gather around a different theme, inspired by the Astrological placement of the new moon. This Circle Journey is inspired by the earthy, Mercury Ruled, pragmatic, taskmaster of the Zodiac, Virgo. Ruler of the 6th House of Work & Health.
Key Words for this circle: Delight, To Do Lists, Soul’s House, Self Care
Our aim is to honor the body (the soul’s house) by delightfully doing on her behalf.

HERBS FOR THE NEW MOON WITH COLE LOPEZ
Health is Wealth
The New Moon in Virgo is the time to delight in the doing. Embody this energy of sacred service and relish in every detail of the experience. The health of our bodies is a divine gift and a direct reflection of the radiance of our planet. Take this time to honor yourself and all the acts of self care that have brought you to this very moment in time. The more we pour our energy into our own healing the more we can be of service to our planet. Our healing is bigger than us. Our planet is surviving on it!
Herbal Blend: Dandelion Root + Milk Thistle Seed
Just add a tablespoon of each to a cup and steep for as long as you like. Just remember, the longer you steep the more medicinal. I usually make a half gallon Ball jar full before bedtime I enjoy it in the morning, which is an 8 hour steep. For best results, put the dandelion roots into boiling water for a few minutes. Then, remove from heat and add the milk thistle seeds and steep everything together overnight. (If you have a mortal and pestle give the seeds a good mash so they will release more into the hot water.) This blend nourishes the digestive system and loves up the liver!
Quality organic herbs are available at Flower Power Roots & Herbs. Visit or have herbs delivered.
Ball jars (canning jars) are available at most hardware stores!

WILD WOMAN CELEBRATION
After WILD WOMAN CIRCLE LEADER TRAINING:
“Meeting Chris Maddox and discovering The Wild Woman Project reactivated a part of me that was frozen in time, waiting to be reborn.
I think I did the training at exactly the right time, and since then, a huge part of myself has come alive and found what was lost. It has also kept me connected to a community of women and support network that I deeply needed after a huge geographical shift as I moved from NYC to Trinidad and Tobago.
Receiving weekly words of wisdom and empowerment from the training gave me the confidence to establish my career as an art therapist in a new country. It is also helping me build my tribe and a circle of women who can grow together and support each other in a safe space where we can be our authentic selves.”
