NOTE FROM CHRIS
Happy Sunday, Dear Soul.
How are you breathing today? Before partaking in this week’s issue of Wild Woman Weeklyish, want to take a few breathes? Go for it. Perhaps place a hand on your chest. Center into your heart and do your best to stay there as you read on.
~~
When you are receive this I will be on retreat, sitting with my teacher; Shedding and learning and practicing. I’m tearing up just thinking about it now, because I know I’ll be changed on the other side. I retreat once a season and it’s always a “big” for my inner life.
Do you retreat? Do you make time to go inward~to learn, to feed your soul, to face your fears, to feel your discomfort, to move through resistance, to get in touch with your wisdom?
It is my most favorite activity and honor to create sacred spaces in Training, 1-on-1 work, circles, Festival & Workshops to allow for that kind of exploration.
You’ll see below, I’m teaming up with the beloved Wild Woman Project Herbalist, Cole Lopez, to offer an afternoon retreat in NYC on October 11th: Requiem for the Moon~An Autumn inspired Retreat for Women. It will be glorious. If you are a Wild Woman of NYC, I hope to see you there. (Early Bird Registration Now Open)
Also, this is the last week to Apply & Register for Wild Woman Circle Leader Training. There are only 7 spots left. If you know in your heart that one of them is yours, Apply Now.
~~
I’m wishing you the kind of Sunday you want it to be.
Want to retreat? Hope it’s juicy. Want to play? Hope it’s joyful. Want to cry? Hope you cry all the tears that want up and out.
The day is yours, dear one, live it.
Sending you waves of love,
Chris
P.S~If you feel moved by this issue of WILD Woman Weeklyish, please share it with your wild ones.
MOON WATCH
A Prayer for the Waning Moon
As the moon disappears,
Sliver by sliver,
May we savor in all that is here.
As the moon falls back,
Piece by piece,
May we stand lovingly
in the wisdom
That all things will
Indeed
Pass.
As the nights get darker
Eve by eve,
May your guidance,
Burn like a candle
In your heart,
Luminous and steady.
In the fading light of the waning moon,
May your Mind
And Heart
And Body
Be filled
With Unshakeable Trust
In the mystery of all that is here
And all that is coming.
Amen.

After WILD WOMAN CIRCLE LEADER TRAINING:
QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body.
