Dear Ones,
The New Moon arrives March 8th in the astrological sign of Pisces, the 12th and final sign of the Zodiac, known for its dreamy, mystical nature. There is a particular kind of magic & wonderment that emerges at this time: the ending of winter & the astrological calendar, along side the beginning of Spring & a new astrological year.
This New Moon at The Wild Woman Project (Here, in Circle & in the New Moon Companion), we will continue our exploration through Feminine Archetypes with the Piscean-inspired theme: Swimming with the Mermaids.
In the talk below you will learn:
- About the particular energetics, qualities & contemplations we can tune into this New Moon.
- Why we are looking to the Archetype of the Mermaids & what the exploration can teach us.

New Moon in Pisces Inspiration
A Practice:
Draw yourself a bath (perhaps an herbal one). As the water begins to fill the tub, make the environment as dreamy as possible. Perhaps: candles, twinkle lights, essential oils, crystal, seashells, music…make it look & feel like your sweetest dream.
Slowly, dip yourself in. Let the breath slow down too.
Allow the water to float you, let all efforting melt away.
(you can do the following in the tub or afterwards…)
An Image to Contemplate:
Envision two mermaids swimming in the depths of the ocean, the world below. Surrounded by colorful life forms, immersed in salty water, moving swiftly.
Consider their dual nature: part human, part fish. Consider their 2 worlds: Water, land. What do they see, feel & know about the world?
A Question:
In what ways are you like the mermaids? What two worlds are you swimming in? What 2 parts of self are prominent now?
A Piece of Advice:
For Intention Setting this New Moon, ask yourself, where have you been holding back on your own deep dreams & wishes (perhaps because they are too far fetched, unrealistic, silly)? Allow yourself, here at the end of this Astrological cycle, to really and sincerely dream for the year ahead. And let your dreaming be colorful, full of life, imagination & sweetness.
