I have heard some variation of this sentiment from our trainees more times than I can count. And I can relate.
Hi there, I am Chris Maddox.
The Wild Woman Project began as a vision I had late one night to see Women’s Circles happening around the world.
At the time I had been facilitating a life-changing New Moon Women’s Circle for years at the neighborhood yoga studio where I taught classes in NYC. I wanted other women to have this incredible experience and I knew in my bones that with the right tools and some encouragement any woman who felt the call could make this magic in her own community.
I taught my very first round of Wild Woman Project Circle Leader Training in 2011 and the adventure began!
In the 13 years since, this program has been refined, deepened, updated dozens of times to meet the moment, to integrate everything I’ve learned along the way. Because my team and I keep evolving and learning, so too does this training.
100% online, each round of training is filled with an international, intergenerational, and interspiritual group of women who feel the same call I felt at 22 years old, way back in 2006:
A call to gather the women.
A feeling that when women come together, we set ourselves free.
A tug at the heart that says: go for it!

With 813 graduates around the world in 26 countries, and 44 out of the 50 United States I have witnessed again and again women at all levels of experience bring a powerful, soul-nourishing Circle to life in her own community.
