The New Moon Cycle has begun.

As we step into this new chapter, it is helpful to do so with intention & clarity.

This is the second New Moon (of 13) in our new IN THE FLESH series– where we will attempt to experience ourselves from inside, out. Informed by a commitment to be in service to the great family on Earth, we will be focusing on truly inhabiting our own bodies. Instead of constantly asking “how do I look?”, we will ask: How do I feel? And trust that our interior experiences have a big role to play in healing ourselves and our world.

This cycle we zoom in on our skin.

As always, I made this video for you introduce our theme of the Moon Cycle (October 19 – November 17 2017) – In Our Skin: Sensing Shell, Sensing Sky.

Grab a cup of tea and let’s talk about:

•Intentionally entering the New Moon Cycle/Chapter

•Tuning into sensing organ of our skin

•How the skin is the meeting place – were we meet the world

•Doing our work to deconstruct white supremacy

•Facing the beliefs we have around aging skin

•Reclaiming our “blemishes”, stretch marks, wrinkles, etc. as signs of life

For this Cycle, let us be in the questions:

a – How can I fully awaken the sensing nature of my skin?

b – How is my body’s skin a mirror of the atmosphere of the Earth?

Yes, this is very juicy! Love all the topics for meditation, reconciling the energies and behaviours from white supremacy, cosmetic industry and the folly of fighting aging and ignoring our feelings on it, our skin and body as the micro of how we are connected with and treat the planet.

  You may be surprised to know that I have a fungus issue with my skin (since childhood) & a skin based health issue I live with.
