Dear Ones,
The Moon is Full, reflecting the light of the Sun, illuminating the night.

Let’s sit together. ♥️
Community Announcements & Happenings:
✨Join us online for Wild Woman School: Tending the Heart on August 13th. As the anatomical heart is the muscular organ at the center of the circulatory system, the spiritual heart sits at the center of our inner guidance system. The practice and skill of tending our hearts, helps to build resilience and to maintain a strong & steady connection to the great spiritual resource that is our inner guidance. Join me and The Wild Woman Project community for ritual, wildish practices & play, meditation, storytelling, contemplation & sharing. You can expect to walk away more connected to nature & you own inner guidance.
✨ Find a Wild Woman Project Circle. Many of our facilitators have moved their Circles online, so you can join in from home. In these New Moon time circles, you can expect Meditation, Intention Setting, Ritual & Sharing, guided by a trained facilitator.
✨ Join us for Circle Leader Training this Fall. Online, from Anywhere. This 7 Week Journey is part personal development & part skill building in the way of the Wild Woman. Learn More & hear from others who have taken the journey here.

I have fallen in love with you and your work. This question you are sitting with for this tumultuous year of 2020 is THE perfect question. Your voice and wisdom is clear and strong. I’d love to connect and learn more about how I can support your leadership and how our hives can dance with each other

C,
I am not sure if those who stand for love will ever obtain or even want power in the traditional sense.
I think that for someone like this, every movement is done with a responsibility to every living person and this act alone dissolves the selfishness of that desire as he/she becomes more of a collective vessel for who needs help where.
The great kings and queens knew this but they were born (forced) into power.
But, to desire it is an entirely different matter…
The enlightened being knows that because he lives his life for love that is power enough alone. In many cases, he can do more outside institutions than in them. In this age, sometimes, I feel it is far better to transform individuals who will then transform their communities than be a figurehead for anything.
But, if such a man or woman exists and merits such leadership, I hope that he/she will earn the favor of the people first and be asked to lead and then be in such a position to bear all of its privileges and sacrifices with honor.

Thank you for your thoughtful answer, Carrie, and taking the time to articulate it. ♥️
I hope to see the power of love wielded in and outside of our institutions. I tend to think power of love is inherently collaborative vs. the traditional, more singular, power over.
Much love.
