Many moons ago, a teacher of mine advised me on the art of choosing a healer/teacher/coach to work with: Always go with the one that is Heart-Centered-this means his/her motives are clean and loving.
This rang true for me then and the more I learn and experience, this heart-centered way of being seems essential to making a conscious impact.
So what does this mean? What does it mean to be Heart-Centered? And how can we embody this quality more as leaders, teachers, artists and makers?
Here’s a list of some essential signs of a Heart-Centered leader. In the coming WILD Woman Circle Leader Training, I will teach you how practice and embody these…
5 Signs of a Heart-Centered Leader
1. You feel loved-even, if they are being “tough” on you. A common misconception about heart-centered leaders is the idea that they are all softies. The truth is: staying in your heart while being challenged (which is par for the course with leadership) is a deeply courageous act. When you are in the presence of someone who truly holds you with love, it is felt. You don’t feel judged, you feel cared for.
2. They are self-aware but you-oriented. Meaning: They have the maturity to understand their influence as a leader but it is distinctly ‘not about them.’ Have you ever gone to a class or a workshop where it was the “Mr. Joe Teacher Show?” It’s an easy trap to fall into. We live in a culture where cutesy-winking at the camera-personas are everywhere.
However, a heart-centered leader embodies an unformulated truth when expressing. In a heart centered leader-the personality serves to further the work, the teaching, the message and nothing else.
3. They are vulnerable. Through her TedX Talks & writings, researcher and author, Brené Brown is bringing the power of vulnerability into the mainstream. She writes: “Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.” Amen. I couldn’t agree more.
4. You feel really seen in their presence. Heart-Centered leaders have the unique ability to make you feel like the best version of yourself because they truly see the greatness in you.
5. They ooze integrity. A true heart centered leader is allergic to BS. This quality is felt by students, clients and colleagues and inspires great trust.
In the coming WILD Woman Circle Leader Training, I will elaborate on these qualities and offer up practices to help you embody them. Heart-Centered Leadership is central to being an effective Circle Leader. (Note: We start on April 28th!)

I have been given a Dell computer from my sister. However, her former husband set up his account on this computer (says he cannot remember the password), making himself the only administrator. Now, I cannot add any programs ( like iTunes), nor can I delete anything. How can I clear his passwords from this computer, and make myself the administrator? I am afraid that I shall have to delete everything, then begin again (ugh!) That would mean buying new programs, installing them and so on. Any ideas?.
I have just spent the last few months creating a blogging website from scratch and i am launching on Monday. I was just wondering if anyone knew some free ways to get it noticed on google or through fan pages or something, other cheap options would be great too thanks..
Well I started my blog in the beginning of March, I have 21 different entries already. How soon do you think the web crawler will pickup my blog and index it into the search engines ?.
