On January 1st The Wild Woman Project turned 13 years old.
Back in 2011, at 27 years old, with a dream in my heart, I wrote this, the very first mission statement:
“The Wild Woman Project is a global movement bringing women together, online and face to face, to create a space of support, healing, listening, dreaming, and feeling. Through this global community, women will empower each other to embrace their untamed, wild, intuitive, and creative nature. And by doing so, empower all human beings to do the same!”
First of all, how cute is that final exclamation point? And second, I’d say with trained Wild Woman Project Circle Leaders in 27 countries, and 44 out of 50 of the United States, with our annual epic Wild Woman Fest, our Wild Woman Underground Community & our monthly New Moon Meditation Adventures, well…I seems as though the dream has come true. And there is not a day that passes that I don’t feel a tidal wave of gratitude for all of you who have built this with me. The work that remains is to keep deepening the work/play, to keep nurturing its evolution, our evolution. To keep showing up for the wild spirit which burns within each of us.
To celebrate her 13th birthday, I made this handy list of 13 Things I’ve Learned in 13 Years of Building The Wild Woman Project. Most of it is pretty universal. I hope you enjoy it and/or find it helpful.

1 – Aiming for an impossible dream will show you both the edges and the center of your power.
2 – The answer is embedded in the question.
3 – Never be afraid to lay down a belief when it has expired.
4 – Earth Angels will come to help and after a while, many will move on. Their efforts, blessings, and fingerprints become a part of the work. And the work lives forever in their perception. This is how the love lives on.
5 – Simplicity in all things. The importance of creating streamlined, simple, repeatable structures and systems cannot be overstated.
6 – The language used to describe the invisible evolves as you do.
7 – Embrace the biodiversity of perspectives. We are not meant to all think the same way. We are here to learn from one another, and also, to dance.
8 – Intuition without discernment is illusion.
9 – Your Circle will hold you, as you hold it.
10 – Spiritual practice is best approached with curiosity and a playful spirit. The depth and intensity of tough times will happen no matter what, because it is an important part of life. No need to go poking and prodding around for it. Might as well kick up some joy to keep things balanced.
11 – Choose the timeless over the topical.
12 – Gratitude is a thank you note to Life. Feel it fully; don’t hold back.
13 – What you make will make you.
Your Turn

I’ve learned that when you are of service to your HIGHEST self, you in turn are serving the collective, and that can never be misguided or wrong.
Happy birthdayWWP! 💜
