Calling wild-hearted women, in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville ~ let’s stir up some sisterhood magic in 2026.

Using the tools of story, music, meditation, journaling, ritual and community sharing we will co-create a space to connect with our own inner guidance, intuition & creativity.

In Wild Woman Project Circles we share in a monthly theme and look to the natural world as a teacher, friend & guide. Women of all faiths or no faiths are welcome here. There are no “have-tos” in Circle; Everything is optional. You are encouraged to sit on the throne of your own spiritual authority.

In Circles, we are not are not here to fight. We are not here to tell each other what to do or think. We are here to listen – deeply. We are here to heal and to bless. We are here to create. We are here to remind one another that we are not too much, but juuust enough.

While we wild women tend to go deep and feel a lot, our Circles are a playful practice where we aim to not take ourselves too seriously. If this sounds intriguing or exciting to you, we’d love to have you.

About the facilitator, Chris Maddox:

The underground holds and creates our secrets with love

Chris Maddox is the founder of The Wild Woman Project where she teaches women how to utilize the gifts of the Wild Woman Archetype in their everyday lives & how to lead women’s circles in their local communities. She has trained hundreds of Wild Woman Project Circle Leaders who facilitate in 27 countries around the world. She is the founder, director & a facilitator of the beloved annual Wild Woman Fest, a women’s retreat-festival hybrid which fosters a deep connection to nature, a direct experience of the divine feminine & profound spiritual sisterhood among the women in attendance. The 10th Annual Wild Woman Fest will happen in August 2026 just outside of Asheville.

An ever-student of the great mysteries of existence and nature itself, Chris believes women are holding innate gifts & tools that society at large needs – now more than ever. She is committed to helping women remember their special magic and to bring it forward into every corner of their lives, for the greater good of the planet. Learn more about Chris.

Got questions?

Are Wild Woman Project Circles associated with any particular religion or path?

No singular path or religion, but rather an inclusive coming together with women from all paths. At The Wild Woman Project, we all come from different spiritual/cultural backgrounds and gather around the ideas of: Sisterhood (having each others backs, empowering one another), a respect for the earth (wildness, turning to nature as a teacher) & creativity (the understanding that we are inherently creative beings). (We also tend to be a heart-centered bunch, lots of laughter & tears).
