Lorraine Lisk – London, United Kingdom
At the start of 2019, I came to find myself wanting to connect with people in a way that went beyond usual meet ups and chats with my existing close circle of friends. I yearned to find a way to support people to feel more in touch with themselves, as well as connected to one another, and the greater universe within which we exist.
I therefore began looking up local community led circles that touched upon these themes, and also mused on the idea of holding a circle of my own.
The Wild Woman Project came up in one of my online searches, and remained tucked away in my subconscious.
In October 2019 I moved from the UK to the US, and rapidly found a supportive anchor in yoga, meditation and the ritual of gathering. This included making contact with a Wild Woman Project Circle Leadership graduate, in the local area where I was living. Around this time I also looked into enrolling onto the virtual Wild Woman Project Leadership training.
In March 2020 I returned to the UK.
With the onset of the “lockdown” and “social distancing” measures due to the Corona virus in place, at the end of March 2020, I found comfort and anchoring through virtual circle gatherings of support, sharing, fun and musings over Moon magic.
In April 2020, I started the Wild Woman Project Leadership Training, which was a uniquely wonderful bonding experience, thanks to the regular virtually held meetings amongst a diverse group of women , with a common thread of openness, support, co- creation and empowerment.
As a graduate of the Wild Woman Project Leadership Training program, I now feel equipped to co- create with other women in order to LET YOUR INTUITION BE YOUR GUIDE, which has since become my mission statement for the way I am choosing to live life.
Alongside this I feel strengthened by the power of connection, growth mindset and support of both ‘Sisterhood’ and the magic of the ‘Moon’, through:
Meditation, Intention Setting and Sharing.
If this sounds like something that speaks to you and you’re interested in ‘howling” at the Moon together, either virtual or via in person group circles, please do get in touch: lorrainelisk@hotmail.com or via instagram @lorlisk_yoga.
