Mary Greenwood, M.Div., BCC, MS, RYT, holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology ( M.S) and a Master of Divinity( M.Div.). Mary is a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) ,and has years of experience in both hospital and hospice work, journeying with souls toward their peace. Mary is also a Spiritual Director through the Benedictine Monastery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with over 500 hours of extensive training in Colorado, and Hawaii ashrams. She has been offering group and private yoga, for over 18 years, preceded by years of teaching all types of fitness/wellness classes, working in Corporate Health and Wellness. Mary believes in the health of the whole person , body, mind, and spirit. She embraces the power of each person to gaze inward, to connect with the deepest self , the silent observer, the wild one, the still one, to find the source of all power and peace, to enhance wellbeing on all levels. Mary is passionate about spiritual exploration, and walking with others on that path. Mary is trained as a Circle Leader with the The Wild Woman Project. She is trained to lead monthly/seasonal circles with women, in a supportive setting, utilizing guided meditation, facilitation of discovery, and conversation, ritual, and intention setting. Mary has studied with the Rocky Mountain Center for Ayurvedic Studies to offer yoga to cancer patients. Mary feels honored and privileged to be part of the spiritual/yoga world wide community, and looks forward to guiding dear ones toward deeper strength, power of mind, and peacefulness, all of which are the many gifts that regular practice can offer. Mary offers circles, yoga classes, and private instruction ranging from gentle yoga for ageless adults, to vigorous Vinyasa flows, as well as private Spiritual Counseling for those facing, grief, loss, chronic illness, and end of life challenges.
