Meaghn Balduchi – Oregon City, OR

My journey into women circles began with a heart’s desire for connection and belonging. I found the Wild Woman Project on my birthday weekend in July of 2016. My partner was traveling for work and most friends were off celebrating the holiday weekend elsewhere. My soul ached with loneliness. I searched for women’s gatherings and found a New Moon in Cancer Meditation by WWP founder Chris Maddox. So much shifted within me after that meditation. To be alone had a new meaning for me. Instead of a perception of abandonment, I was now seeing alone time as a great gift of sacred space. Presence and time to connect with myself, tapping into my inner voice and knowing within.  As I explored more WWP offerings, the hunger to deep dive into intentional, wild sisterhood grew. And by that fall/winter I completed the online circle leader training.

During my time as a circle leader, I crossed the threshold from maiden to mother. That shift took a physical and emotional toll on me leading to a long hiatus from circling in the wake of postpartum depletion. I went to some dark places in isolation during COVID and new motherhood away from familial support. It took 3 years for another great awakening and remembrance of who I am and what I am here to do. And to recognize that starts with nourishing and nurturing myself. My spark was re-ignited on this path once again after an invitation to a local circle where I was once again held lovingly. Where I could deep dive into my inner world, honoring my voice, my desires, my needs, my truth. My joy, my spark and my privilege is to deeply connect with women, steep in the creative process of crafting circle themes and meditations, and honor the gifts of the divine feminine.

This is my story and an invitation to share yours with me and your new web of sisters. We will take a sacred journey to the inner depths with the New Moon Cycle as our guide.
