Shekita Long – Detroit, MI

Peace Family!  My name is Shekita and as a dedicated Community Labor and Birth Doula, I am here to support Women every step of the way with the guidance and depth gained from the Wild Woman Project Circle Leader Training.

My mission is to empower and nurture Women during this beautiful transition, honoring the unique needs of each individual and their journey. The saying goes “Midwives Catch Babies while Doulas Catch Women!”

In addition to my Doula services, I also facilitate Blessingway Ceremonies—an intimate and meaningful gathering to honor the transition into motherhood. These ceremonies are a beautiful way to celebrate the mother-to-be, fostering connection, love, and support from friends and family.

I look forward to connecting with you and walking alongside as your compassionate and safe guide, embracing the transformative power of birth and motherhood. Together, we will honor your choices, path, and create a supportive community that uplifts and inspires.
