Blessing Amanda P. The Wild Woman Project
Amanda P. was one of the VERY first women to sign up for Circle Leader Training when I launched The Wild Woman Project in 11+ years ago.

We’d met the previous year through a Lucid Body workshop in Los Angeles, where I was Fay Simpson’s assistant and apprentice & she was participating with a cohort of her college classmates. Theater nerds, feminists with love for coffee, spirituality, and Mad Men, we hit it off instantly.

She bravely facilitated her Circles in L.A – one of the first five official Wild Woman Project Circles!

And when, a couple years later, I decided to launch Wild Woman Fest – even though I was deep in the red, I told her if she could get herself in NY, she could stay with me, and have a ticket free of charge. She made herself indispensable, and eventually became one of the OG members of Love Crew where she earned the title “Baby Grandma” for wisdom and maturity beyond her years.

After the 3rd Wild Woman Fest unexpectedly sold out in a few days, it became crystal clear I could no longer hold The Wild Woman Project alone. So, in 2016 Amanda began working for me part-time.

We have worked together on 13 rounds of Circle Leader Training, 2 Winter Immersions, 6 Wild Woman Fests, 1 Heartlight Circle Leader Retreat, and last August’s Through the Roots Retreat -in all of the above we did both facilitation and organization work, side by side. And in the space between these larger offerings, worked together to tend the all the other smaller + important pieces of the Project.

An excellent communicator, skilled facilitator, with an ability to wear many hats, Amanda has been a joy to work with all these years.

Her journey is now continuing – she is entering graduate school with her eye on becoming a middle school history teacher! I can’t help but think how lucky those children will be.

If you’ve been close to the Project for any amount of time, you surely know the treasure that she is. Her mark on the project will be forever felt.

Please join me in blessing her as she moves onto this new terrain! Please offer any warm words you have for her in the comments below!

A Word From Amanda

It’s hard to summarize what being a part of The Wild Woman Project has meant to me. In so many ways I have grown up within The Wild Woman Project. I have discovered my spirituality, my community, many of my interests and gifts, my sisterhood, and . . . myself. I feel privileged to have worked for and alongside Chris, to serve this Project, and to serve and learn from this beautiful community. These experiences are among the most cherished in my life.

Just as the Moon and the seasons turn, so do the seasons of life, and it is now time for me to move towards a new adventure in my professional life. However, my heart light will always remain tethered to this community and The Wild Woman Project.

Big Love, Always,

Amanda

Amanda, Wildflower, may your future be as bright as your mind & as bountiful as your heart!

Love Always, Chris.
