The Wild Woman is an ancient, archetypal force, bound to the Earth which bore us all, yet of the realms beyond.

She dwells here and also there, part wolf, part woman, a shape-shifter, an advocate for freedom and love, a force of nature running through the wilds, inside and out, singing to the most feral and holy parts of woman-kind.

Wake up, she whispers into our most private dreams.

She rides the rivers of feeling. Her instructions come through the currents of Knowing. The Wild Woman is so many colorful things, but subtle she is not. For those versed in the language of the inner waters, she cannot be ignored. Not for long anyway.

She is not for everyone, or every woman. Nothing and no one is, of course.

Those of her pack will feel her ancient howl in the ache and longing for places, people, ways, and songs most wild. They are those who are here to dance her into being at this time, in this place. They are the wild ones who live at the edge of this cliff in time, right here, right now, readier and readier to meet what comes.

To those of her pack, she speaks in a voice both tender and fierce:

Do not be fooled by false spells cast from those who grasp for power.
Do not let your grief spoil and rot your heart.
Do not let your rage burn your house down.
Do not lose your way in the house of mirrors built to distract you.
Do not forget why you are here.

Under Wolf Moon she prays:

Seek open sky.
Stay alert.
Hone your instincts and your intellect.
Trust what your heart Knows.
Check your ego – repeatedly and rigorously.
Walk in the direction of freedom.
Dance; Your joy has magic in it.

To you, wild pack, she howls:

Give me the rose with her thorns intact.
Give me your songs sung from the crack in your heart.
Give me the truth told with style.
Give me your works of art seeded from your deepest dreams.
Give me your salty tears and your shimmering joy.
Give me quiet moments that stretch out for eternity.
Give me your tender heart and your ferocious talent.
Give me your weirder and wildest works.
Give me, give Life, everything you came here to be.

She vows:

I will light a circle around it all
and sing songs of protection and power
that only stars remember.
