“One advantage of talking to yourself is that you know at least somebody’s listening.”
-Franklin P. Jones
Don’t front, I know you talk to yourself.
You whisper quietly as you pass a mirror.
You tell yourself (out loud) what to do next.
I ask you: What are you saying? HOW are you saying it? In what tone?
In my life I have really run the gamut. I have been uber-sweet and loving to myself and other times I have been down right abusive.
Our words are directly connected to our thoughts and it is our thoughts that create our reality.
Hence if I speak to myself in a disrespectful tone and use language that is hurtful, I am actively creating pain. Yikes.
I’ve been doing this exercise recently, one that Louis Hayes recommends, which is essentially mindfully and lovingly talking to myself. To clarify: That is I look at myself in the eyes, in the mirror and say a loving phrase out loud. It may sound a little loca but this can be a pretty deep exercise.
I must admit that even I get a little cynical l about this touchy feely stuff, but I have found it to be powerful and deep practice.
I have been saying, “Christina Nichole Maddox, everything you need to create the life or your WILDest dreams is within you.”
This practice is deepening my relationship to myself, the universe and has immediate positive effects on my mood and body. I look into the eyes of that extraordinary woman in the mirror and speak to her as I do my dearest friends.
Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes tears are shed. And we always leave feeling better.

Wild Woman Check in #13
Take a deep breathe and ask yourself, “What do I most need to hear?”
Look in the mirror and say it.
How did that feel?
Will you dare to talk to yourself every day this week. Become besties with that radiant person in the mirror.
Loving yourself opens the floodgates of wonderfulness.
Please share your experience in the comments section. Was this challenging? Were you surprised at how it felt? We learn from each other. Let us know!
With incredible love,

I’m trying to build a membership website and people have told me that Joomla works best. I have downloaded Joomla and don’t know what to do from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Does this cover PHP as well or do I need to download that?.
How do I start a website for free or cheap?
Copyright? I want to gather stories/articles from the web and put them onto one page?
I want to have a secret blogspot page, but some people I know have been able to find my URL via a Google search…is there a way I can prevent this? I don’t want anyone to be able to realistically find the URL unless I give it to them. . . (Please don’t suggest that I switch to another blog site.) . . Thanks!.
