Lovers in your Teacup: Herb Advice with Cole Lopez

 Working with the energies of Virgo is an inspiring influence to support our spirituality into action by making a healthy plan and seeing it through all the way down to the bottom of our empty teacups. The new moon in Virgo was a beautiful reminder to experience the pleasures of earthly sensation and to drop into our home of the senses, our bodies. 
Virgo and Pisces have a cosmic union that holds space for each others transcendence. They hold hands across the astrological wheel to offer support and lend energy to one another to facilitate the ultimate marriage of unity and nurturing. 
             
My study of plants and herbalism has awoken me to this concept on the physical realm and is a perfect example of these two dancing energies on our soil. Plants are spirituality come to life. Take a minute to close your eyes and visualize the whole process of a plant forming and the entirety of its life/death cycle. This little seed implants itself into the womb of the fertile earth. Slowly it reawakens and bursts from its casing and travels to find the solar source. It penetrates through the crust of the earth and forms moment by moment into an ever changing expression of magick on earth. 
             
We pick these energetic forces and through their sacrifice they make us more alive and we reciprocate when we return our bodies back to the womb of the soil and give life to the plants with our death. 
When you make an herbal infusion, which is a 4 – 8 hour steeped tea, you are imbuing your cells with the pure essence of life and drinking in this magickal alchemical transcendent process. Your body is radiating to new frequencies physically and spiritually as it aligns to the plant because now the plant is enjoying a home inside of you.

My blend of choice for the moment is burdock root and nettle leaf. Just add 1/2 a teaspoon each to a cup and steep for as long as you like. Just remember, the longer you steep the more medicinal. I usually make a huge Ball jar full before bedtime and then I enjoy it in the morning, which is an 8 hour steep!
This blend gives the kidneys the love they have been looking for and showers the adrenals with healing attention. Drink your way to cleaner blood and an iron boost! This blend sure should put a pep in your step 😉

    Fair use provisions of the copyright law allow for limited copying or distribution of published works without the author’s permission in some cases. Examples of fair use of copyrighted materials include quotation of excerpts in a review or critique, or copying of a small part of a work by a teacher or student to illustrate a lesson.. . This is what a i found somewhere.. So can i upload short excerpts of copyrighted content there?.
