Let us start with a prayer.
Let us put all falsities behind us.
Let us treat this day like the beauty she is:
A Fresh Start.
We can declare a beginning
at any moment.
Let this be that moment.
Let this be the beginning.
Let us start now.
Check-in:
I have taken a break from writing to you for almost 6 weeks. The choice to do this was not an easy one. Before that, I had loyally written to you every single week since January 1st 2012.
This summer, I got a very clear message (a loud one, at that):
Chris, Shut Up.
Despite what online marketing gurus teach and business experts preach, I stopped communicating.
…
Just like the new moon hides behind the sky, unexposed, and women on their moon time shift awareness inward, I spent the last few weeks deeply looking into myself and the soul of The WILD Woman Project.
Like any journey, especially those of introspective nature, I found many truths. Some of them were profoundly beautiful and exciting(!) and some were quite painful and uncomfortable.
The painful first:
Even in my mission to be wild(radically true), I had allowed myself to be taught certain things about the proper ways of doing business. (Note: All by incredibly loving and gifted people doing their very best to serve and make a living, in this money-driven society).
I took their advice and started to feel a little sick. Honestly, commodifying my service to the world makes me nauseous. (See, I have ideas for creating a humane-for-all-society where we can live and exchange services in a wholly different way-in fact, there are more brilliant minds than mine working on this as we speak.)
For now, all I can do about this conundrum is clarify my intention (to serve in the highest way possible and have my needs taken care of), gather my courage and trust wildly in my own inner guidance.
The Truth is: The only reason The WILD Woman Project IS a business is because to keep it alive and thriving, I need money. This may not always be true, but it is the truth right now.
The Beautiful:
By taking the time to focus on the forth coming Circle Leader Training Program and sitting in circles of women in my community, I realized that my truth is way more radical than I anticipated.
The WILD Woman Project has a life of her own and has far more energy and power than I do. Why? Because so many people are involved and have a heart connection to the work we are doing in Circle and in Programs. I am simply the Guardian of this Project. What I foresee is great expansion in geography, reach, and philosophy.
It is my experience that the path to authenticity (wildness) can be gnarly but the pay off is unimaginably rewarding.
Please note these changes:
- I will never sell you anything. I will share with you what I am doing/teaching and invite you to participate. (That’s a shift in intention for both of us)
- I will write to you about once a week and only if I am bursting to share/serve. It may be at 2am in on a Tuesdays or Sunday afternoon. We shall see.
- Circle Leader Training begins December 2nd (New Moon in Sagittarius)and registration will open in November (post Mercury Retrograde). There will be an application process and much mentoring with me. If you are particularly interested in this Program, Go here to learn more.
- No one will ever be priced out of a program. I am committed to finding an equitable exchange, if you are.
Food for thought:
French Author and Philosopher, Albert Camus wrote:
“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
I am so grateful for your presence here. It is my great joy and my rather serious work in the world to be an advocate of your wildness, your freedom. I believe that it is in our wildness, that we will unchain the world from the shackles of domestication and outdated ideals.
Here’s to your freedom,
Here’s to wildness and womaness,
Here’s to The WILD Woman Project
and all that is coming.
happy new beginnings,
Chris
