We can not talk about duality(this month’s TWWP theme) without mentioning the men-folk.
Given my mission through this project, it is no secret I revere women and the feminine spirit. It is probably clear that I believe fearless, intuitive and deeply felt women will realize the world of our WILDest dreams.
What you may NOT know is I love me some men.
I can see the eyebrows raise, the head tilt, and hear the sarcastic words, “You think?” coming from the smiling lips of members of my inner circle. It’s true. I have a long time fascination with and adoration of men beings.
In recent times, my curiosities about these alluring characters have evolved further than the ancient queries: “What is he thinking?” “Does he really like me?” “Will he call?” “Is he the one?” (do not get me wrong, these are still questions rattling around my mind and coloring my lady time talk with agonizing excitement.)
With all these empowered women walking around sporting larger bankrolls and confidence levels, with expectations of both sexes changing on a personal, social, and economic level, my questions are closer to: “How’s it going for you?”, “Am I expecting the ‘right’ things of you?”, “What does it mean to be a man?”
Wild Women are amazing and I love them. Wild hearted men are the other half, the sun to our moon, the yang to our yin, the Sunny to our Cher. While we as women are redefining ourselves, men are doing the same. The WILD Man Project is totally different project I will not be birthing anytime soon but here is what I can offer: Compassion and Respect.
Change can be challenging and as long as both sexes understand we are in this together. As long as we come to the table with big hearts and minds full of creativity and patience, I think we will make out okay. In fact, I think it will be a WILD Adventure that just may be the CHANGE we’ve been waiting for.
