Kate Shyló – Big Island, Hawaii

Kate Shyló is a nomadic woman.

Fluent in six languages, she spent most of her life gathering women’s stories as she traveled between Crimea, Luxembourg, the UK, the US and Cyprus. With each place where she settles, she gravitates toward herstory, toward the women who live there.

Kate is a Kundalini Yoga instructor, tarot reader, (ghost) writer and writing coach with a deep passion for Slavic ancestral work. She has two master’s degrees in comparative cultural analysis and creative writing with a specialization in women’s studies, trauma and psychoanalysis.

She currently lives on the Big Island of Hawai’i and hosts women circles in a community space and bird sanctuary called The Hawaiian Sanctuary.

Wild Woman, come as you are into the jungle of Hawai’i, and let us travel into the depths of our inner tides. Let’s connect and empower each other, bringing an end to competition between women collectively.
