Marybeth Sweeney – Keene, NH

Marybeth is a Virgo lover of all things wild, including her two wildish sons and her wildish husband. Truth be told, she has always been a bit rogue when it comes to following the rules—delighting, instead, in making up her own! Joining her New Moon circles will likely feel like coming home to your own wisdom, diving into the sacred waters of your soul, and like the best sleepover party you’ve ever had.

Once upon a time she was branded a bossy little girl, and finally decided to turn that title into Compassionate Leader—she believes this transformation magically began in 1993, when she found her deceased aunt’s copy of Women Who Run With the Wolves in her mother’s bedroom.

She is a playful and sparkly glitter-loving human, a happy digger in the dirt, a dance-to-Madonna-in-the-kitchen kinda gal, a teacher at an elementary school, a journaling-for-the-inner-journey type of soul, a bumbling yogi, a joyful herbalist, a reiki healer, a former CrossFit instructor, a dog-lover, an ocean worshiper, a camping/glamping enthusiast, a proud and sassy redhead, a book nerd, a devoted ritualist, an intuitive, a seamstress, a delectable cook, a sister, a daughter, a feminist, a damn fine friend, and a lover of foot rubs and descriptive lists. Now, she excitedly adds Wild Woman Project Circle Leader to this compilation!

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Lesley University, and her certifications include a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Usui Reiki I and II, and Aromatherapy Massage. She is a graduate of Gaia School of Healing and Earth Medicine with 160 hours of training in herbal medicine, holistic healing, and plant spirit medicine.
