Dear Soul,
It is almost that time again: the beginning.
In these last few days of this moon cycle, find time to reflect on what has come to pass, internally and externally. What has been born? What has passed away this cycle? This will prepare you to begin, again.
Our New Moon arrives on Saturday in a blaze of Leo glory. This month’s theme is inspired by the fiery, sun-ruled, 5th house of the Zodiac.
UNLEASH YOU CREATIVITY is the theme of the 1st Annual WILD WOMAN FEST & also this round of Wild Woman Circles. Take a deeper look into this theme with me in the New Moon VLOG below.

HERBS FOR THE NEW MOON WITH COLE LOPEZ
It’s Time to BURN!
The New Moon in Leo is the time to unleash your creativity. Breath fire into the embers of your freedom and let your creative forces BURN! Set yourself aglow with the ecstasy of your creative heat. Feel the lioness cloak around you and the power of her luminosity.
Solar Flare Vinegar
-Ginger Root & Turmeric Root-
Finely chop up (or use a micro fine grater) equal parts of fresh organic ginger root and organic turmeric root to fill a glass jar. (You can make a very small amount or a large amount depending on the jar you choose.) Also, If you want some extra sparks chop up one spicy pepper of your choice with all of the seeds and add it in.
After, pour organic apple cider vinegar into the jar to the very top. Use a chopstick to poke around in the mixture and release any trapped air bubbles; top off the bottle again with apple cider vinegar.
Lastly, cover the bottle opening with wax paper before securing the lid on if the top is metal (vinegar will create rust when it comes into contact with metal. The wax paper creates a barrier so this does not happen. You can also use a plastic lid to avoid this instead.)
Let the jar sit for 4-6 weeks in your cupboard. Check it periodically and top it off with extra apple cider vinegar if needed. Finally, squeeze and filter out the plant material and your vinegar is ready for use! You can put one ounce into a cup of water and simply drink it or use it in any way you like.
*This recipe is NOT recommended for pregnant women.
