We are in the last days of the Waning Moon. It will be New again next Tuesday, March 8th.

We now have the opportunity to allow the Waning Moon to act as a guide & teacher, while we let go of things inner and outer that no longer bring us fulfillment.

Carve out 10 minutes or more to be with this Offering.

I suggest going in order: Practice, Contemplation, Question & Advice.

A Practice

  • Stand outside & gaze at the Waning Moon.
  • Feel the sturdy presence of the Earth beneath your feet.
  • Inhale through the crown of the head (as if you have gills there)
  • On the exhale, feel the breath move from the crown of the head, down through the body & out the soles of the feet.
  • Do this for 13 rounds of breath (1 round=inhale & exhale)
  • In honor of the Wane, see if you can allow the exhales to be a little longer than the inhales.

When you are finished with your 13 rounds, close your eyes, place your hands over your heart and see if you can sense any physical, energetic, emotional shifts in you.

An Image to Contemplate

A leafy plant that has 90% green & healthy leaves. The other 10% of it’s leaves have shriveled and turned brown. A farmer comes and carefully removes the brown leaves. How does the plant look and feel now?

A Question

You may journal with this Question or Simply Ask in: What are you laying down now, letting go of, shaking off? In other words, just like that leafy plant, what is metaphorically shriveling or turning brown in you or in your life?

It could be an old habit that no longer brings out the best in you. It could be a certain relationship or way of being in a certain relationship that hurts in some way. Only you know what is expiring in you and/or in your life.

Perhaps you answered this question on the Full Moon HOWL (if so, reconnect with this, how is the wane going? you may feel different now) or maybe you are asking for the first time now. Inquire inward with sincerity.

A Piece of Advice

Be kind to yourself & brave as you wane.

Like the farmer coming in to prune the plant, that it may thrive, you are doing a necessary part of the practical & sacred work of growing.

Allow the Wane, dear one, allow the Wane.

Sara Goff

“Wild Woman Circle Leadership Training is nothing short of an extraordinary experience.

Gracefully blending personal growth and leadership training in a harmonious balance, Chris leads with a massive reverence, a clear mission, a loving heart and a vast, grounded legacy of expertise, and masterfully guides each participant in igniting and bringing forth the leader within.

This training is far from a cookie-cutter experience; I could feel from the very first lesson that the initiation into this wild sisterhood would be treated with tender presence, respect, and honor toward each leader-in-training. We were given all the tools, empowerment, and content we could need to create our own circle and share this beauty with our community.”
