As the year begins, I offer you this, part prayer – part prediction, my sense of what is coming this year. I feel it in my bones: 2017 will be the year of the Wild Woman.
1. Women will question everything.
Women of all ages and walks of life will aide the collective global awakening by sincerely questioning in all areas of life.
- This year women will leave behind blind trust in external sources of information. A new value will be placed on identifying the motives & special interests behind communication in all forms – advertisements, blog posts, news (corporate or otherwise), conversation.
- Women will really look to all corners of their lives and ask: how does this behavior/product/person/item/practice/food/place make me feel? Is there a need for change here?
- Curiosity & discernment will become central to the way women are navigating their personal & professional lives – this way of being influences their families and spheres of influence, rapidly.
2. There will be an vital movement to get back to the land.
In 2017 there will be a radical shift in main stream consciousness about the way we perceive and relate to the earth itself.
- In both spiritual & religious groups, the ways of the natural world will be called upon for inspiration and guidance more than ever before.
- Education & Innovation in the fields of Clean Energy, Permaculture, Sustainability, Small Scale Farming, Homesteading & Herbalism will boom.
- People from all walks of life will begin to align their actions & personal impact with the greater good of the planet.
3. Intuition will be developed & trusted.
Personal inner guidance (not solely dependent on rational thinking) will be valued in a new way.
- A large portion of humans beings in influential nations will begin to realize we have just scratched the surface of what we are capable of doing and being.
- Curiosity about intuition, the instinctual nature & inner guidance will grow.
- People who use the mysterious instrument of intuition and inner guidance will begin to come out of the closet and inspire others to utilize these powerful tools.
4. The People will reclaim their collective power.
With the use of new technology & intergenerational collaboration, the 99% will stand up courageously for the greater good.
- The People will look to one another for solutions to the serious problems humanity is facing.
- The greed and corruption in government, big money & corporations continues to be exposed.
- The People will remember the power in their numbers and will organize, strategize, and shake the establishment to the core.
- 2017 will be a year of innovative solutions which will not be brought to you by Coca Cola or Exxon Mobile, but by the innovators who have been waiting for this moment of awakening to bring forth solutions that are motivated by love, not greed.
5. Women will take the lead.
Using their natural gifts of communication, empathy & collaboration, we will see women step into leadership within social, spiritual & political movements.
- With the new found transparency of injustice, corruption and pain affecting children & adults around the world, women will feel great urgency to be of service which they will act upon – quickly.
- A collective sense of the great family on earth will be awakened by the deep maternal instincts in women.
- As the Millennial generation yields even more influence this year, women in leadership will be a given (not a taboo).
- Any internalized sexism & shame in women will be overcome by a need to act in service of the greater good – right now.
- As the women rise, the men & children of the earth benefit in profound and unexpected ways.
Wishing you unprecedented courage & hope as you navigate these rapidly changing times.
