Today, in the Northern Hemisphere, we are sharing in the darkest day of the year – the Winter Solstice.
It seems fitting that we are gifted this day in the final week of the Moon Cycle where we have been calling forth the Light Within.
Today, at this full holiday time, I offer you a simple prayer for the final days of the Cycle (which ends on December 28th).
Unleash Your Light
A Winter Solstice Prayer
Let no one
and nothing
stand between you
and the light
of the creator.
You needn’t a priest
or a priestess
to access
the truth
nestled in your heart.
All you need
is a willingness
to allow
all that is within you
to radiate out.
Your innermost feelings
Your dreams for the future
Your unconditional love
Your giggling joy
Your undying courage
Your light will burn
Gently at times
And it will rage too.
Let
It.
Lay down your sword,
surrender your armor,
and unleash your light.
For your light
renders you
Unbreakable.
From the depths of the darkest day,
This is my prayer for you:
Unleash your light,
Unleash your light,
Unleash your light!
I recommend carving out a little time before the end of this Moon Cycle on December 28th to reflect on all that has unfolded for you.
